Narmetta Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our office for Narmetta Farmers Producer Company Limited is tucked away behind the MPDO office in Naremetta. We use the Streeshakthi Bhavan space. It’s a busy little area with people coming and going for all sorts of government work. We’re usually inside trying to figure out the logistics for the next sowing season. It’s not a very big office, and it gets a bit crowded when a few of the farmers come in at once to talk. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, one of us just looks up from a desk when someone walks in. We deal with all kinds of stuff, from getting fertilizers to figuring out where to sell the grain. The MPDO office being right there is handy sometimes. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, so we know most of the faces that come through the door. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend money on decorations or fancy furniture because that’s not what we are about. We just need a desk and a chair and a way to talk to each other about the crops. Some days are stressful when the market prices drop, but we just sit together and figure it out. It’s just us farmers trying to make a living and keep the town moving forward.
