Granite Mart Limited

Granite Mart Limited is based out in Brahmanpally, specifically at Survey No:161/162. It's a bit of a drive out to the Panchayat area, but that's where the space is. We have a lot of ground here to store the different types of granite we bring in. Most of our day is spent unloading trucks or helping people pick out slabs for their homes. It’s a big yard, so we do a lot of walking. We get all kinds of people coming out this way. Some are doing a small kitchen project and others are building an entire apartment block. We don't really have a big sales pitch. We just show them what’s in the piles and tell them the price. The wind blows a lot of dust across the Brahmanpally plains, so the stone needs a good wipe down before you can really see the color. We’ve been out here for a while, and we’ve seen the area change as more buildings go up. It’s a simple operation really. We have the stone, we have the cranes, and we have the people to move it. We don't worry about the corporate side of things much. As long as the stone is moving and the customers are getting what they need for their floors, we are doing okay. It’s a lot of hard work under the sun, but that’s the way the granite business goes. We stay focused on the inventory we have on hand.
