Essel Software And Services Ltd. is tucked away on the second floor of Plot No. 47 in Gayatri Nagar. Ameerpet is always a bit of a whirlwind with so many people and shops, so our office feels like a little escape from all that. It isn't a huge place, just enough room for the team and our gear. We spend our time working on various software projects and services. The walls are painted a standard off-white and the carpet has seen better days, but it’s a comfortable enough place to spend eight or nine hours. We don’t have a fancy coffee bar, just a kettle and some tea bags in the corner. Most of the day is spent staring at code or talking through a service issue. Sometimes we get a bit frustrated when a bug won't go away, but we eventually sort it out. We don't use a lot of corporate jargon here. If someone has a problem, they just shout across the room or walk over to the next desk. It is a very direct way of working. We’ve been in this Ameerpet location for a while now and we’re used to the sounds of the street filtering in. It’s a practical setup for a group of people who just want to do their jobs without any unnecessary fuss. We just keep moving forward with whatever the next project is.
