Arooran Collective Farmings Producer Company Limited is situated at No.1/14B, Keela Theru in Nadapur. It’s a small place, but it serves its purpose for us. We are just a group of local people who are trying to manage our farming activities together. Keela Theru is a normal street, and we are right there in the middle of it. We spend most of our time out in the fields, but this office is where we handle the business side of things. It’s where we store our documents and meet to discuss how the season is progressing. Farming in Nadapur has its ups and downs, and having the company helps us deal with the downs a bit better. We don't have any polished marketing or a big team of experts in suits. It’s just us, using our common sense to get things done. We help each other with things like getting seeds and finding buyers for our produce. Sometimes the office is a bit messy, with samples and paperwork all over the place, but we know where everything is. We aren't trying to impress anyone; we just want to make sure the farming stays viable for all of us. People in the village know us well and they know where to find us if they need to talk about their crops or a problem they are having with their land. It’s a straightforward, local operation and that’s how we like to keep it. We are just trying to get by and do right by each other.
