About Ram Nagina Kisan Pg College – Education in Mau
Out here in Jakhania, things move a bit slower than the big cities. The college is a big part of the local area in Ghazipur. Students come from all the nearby villages. A lot of them are from farming families, which makes sense given the name. It’s a place where people come to get their degrees without having to travel too far from home. The buildings are plain and practical. You won't find anything too flashy here. We have classrooms that get quite warm in the summer, but the students don't seem to mind much. They sit under the trees during breaks and talk about their exams or what’s happening at home. The staff mostly live nearby too. It’s the kind of place where you recognize most of the people walking through the gates. We handle post-graduate courses and other stuff, trying to give the local youth a chance to stay here and learn. The road to the college can be a bit dusty depending on the season. In the mornings, you see groups of students walking or riding cycles together. It’s a quiet life in this part of Uttar Pradesh. We just open the doors every morning and get on with the teaching. There’s always someone drinking tea near the entrance or checking the notice board for news. It’s just our local college doing its thing for the community and keeping the daily routine going.
