S R Public School

S R Public School is located right by the Nh2Hiway at Narholi Chauraha in Mathura. Being so close to the highway means there is always noise from the trucks and cars passing by. We have a wall to block some of it out, but you can still hear the horns throughout the day. The school is a sturdy building that has seen a lot of students come and go over the years. We have a big gate that we keep closed during school hours for safety reasons. The classrooms are basic, with desks and boards that get used all day long. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a place for learning. The kids from around Narholi Chauraha come here every morning. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the hallways, so we have to sweep quite often to keep it clean. We focus on the books and the exams. The teachers are mostly local people who have been in Mathura for a long time. We don't have any big corporate mission; we just want to make sure the kids know their subjects. When the school day ends, the intersection outside gets very crowded. We help the kids get across safely so they can head home. It’s a straightforward life here at the school, and we just keep things moving as best as we can. We are just part of the local scenery.
