Global Era School

If you head down Janam Bhoomi Link Road in Krishna Nagar, you'll find Global Era School. Since we are in Mathura, there are always pilgrims and people moving around near the temples. Our school is a bit away from the main rush, but still very much part of the city. We have a decent-sized building here. The halls are usually filled with the sound of kids running around during the breaks. We have teachers who have been with us for years. They know most of the parents by name. Krishna Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside our gates. We have a small area where we keep some plants, though keeping them green in the summer is a real task. The classrooms have the usual desks, and we try to keep the charts on the walls updated. It’s not a massive campus like you see in the big cities, but we have enough room for everyone. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby areas come onto the roof, which creates a bit of a distraction for the classes. We just carry on with our work. The link road is convenient for parents who are dropping their kids off on their way to the market. It’s a very local feel here. Everyone knows everyone else. We just focus on the daily routine and making sure the kids are safe and studying.
