We’ve been running E I Maben Income Tax Consultancy out of Door No 3 22 1929 in Mangalore for a long time. Karnataka has a lot of rules when it comes to taxes, and we spend our days trying to keep up with them. The office is usually a bit of a mess with papers, folders, and tax forms everywhere you look. We have to make sure the roof doesn't leak on the files. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the local news while we work. We don't have any big dreams of becoming a huge firm. We just like helping people with their taxes and keeping things moving. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied. We show up every day, do the math, and make sure everything is filed correctly. We’ve been here so long that the front door has a specific squeak.
