Jamunde Moksh Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Jamundewadi. It is really just a group of us who know each other from around Malegaon. Ratan Bhagavan Jamunde is my father, and we run things from the family place. If you come looking for us, just ask for the Jamunde house. It is not a big corporate setup or anything like that. We spend most of our time out in the fields or talking to the other guys in the village about the crops. Sometimes we sit on the porch and try to figure out the prices for the season. The roads around here get a bit muddy when it rains, so getting things moved can be a slow process. We started this because it felt right for the farmers here to have their own thing. It is mostly about helping each other out with the heavy lifting and sharing what we have. We do not have a secretary or fancy phones. Just a bunch of us trying to make the farm work. My cousin usually handles the ledger while we are out back. Every day is pretty much the same, starting early before the sun gets too high. We look at the soil, check the water, and talk to the neighbors about their yields. It is a simple life in Jamundewadi, but it keeps us busy. We do not really do much besides farming and keeping this producer company going as best we can for the group.
