The shop is easy to find if you know where the New India Insurance building is. We are just 2-2-2-D, right nearby. It’s mostly about the land and what grows on it for us. We started this because there wasn't a good spot close by for people to get what they needed without driving for an hour. It’s not a fancy setup. We have bags of supplies stacked up and it can get a bit messy when the rain comes through. People stop in to talk about their crops or the weather, which usually dictates how our day goes. If the monsoon is late, things are quiet. If it’s planting season, we are here from early morning until late at night. We don't really do much advertising. Most folks just know we are here by the insurance office. It’s a simple business. We try to keep the stuff people actually use in stock so they don't have to wait. There are no suits or big meetings here. Just dirty boots and talk about soil and seeds. Sometimes we have a bit of a backlog when everyone wants the same thing at once. We do our best to keep up with it. It’s a lot of physical work, loading and unloading trucks and moving things around the floor. We’ve been part of this community for a bit now and we just keep doing what we do.
