Mudavath Anjamma

Mudavath Anjamma is the name we use for our work here at H. No. 8-79. We are tucked away in Malyanaik Thanda, which is in the Fareedpur village area of C C Kunta. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the district, but we like the space. The house is where everything happens. We don't have a big office or a bunch of employees in suits. It is a family-run thing mostly. We get up when the sun comes up and start seeing to the chores and the business side of things. The ground around here is quite rocky, and we spend a lot of time dealing with the local climate. People from the Thanda often stop by just to say hello or ask for help with something. We don't have a website or anything like that. If people need us, they usually just walk over or call the house phone. It's a simple way of living and working. Sometimes we run out of supplies and have to wait for the next trip into the bigger town to get more. We try to keep our records straight in a big cloth-bound book. It’s not a polished operation, but it’s ours. We have been in Fareedpur for a long time and plan to stay right where we are. There is always something to do, so we stay busy.
