Kishampet Devandhar

Over at House Number 3-81 in Devalthirmalpur Village, that is where Kishampet Devandhar is located. It is part of the Peddakotha Pally Mandal. We have been rooted in this village for quite a while now. The life here is dictated by the seasons and the work that needs doing. Our place is not anything special to look at, just a regular house with some workspace around it. We do not use big words or have fancy meetings. Usually, if there is a job to do, we just get our boots on and head out. The village is small, so everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. We spend a lot of time outdoors. The air in Devalthirmalpur is usually quiet except for the occasional tractor or some goats nearby. We handle our daily tasks without much fuss. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves with whatever we have on hand. If a neighbor needs help, we are usually around. It is the kind of place where a handshake still means something. We do not have a computer or a secretary to answer the phone. If you want to talk to us, you usually just have to show up and see if we are around. Most of the time we are, unless we are out in the mandal working. It is a steady way to live and we do not complain about it much.
