Palthya Balamma

Palthya Balamma lives and works out of H. No. 2-105 in Buddegani Thanda, which is part of Kanmanur village. This is way out in the Narva Mandal, a place where the trees and the fields are more common than paved roads. At H. No. 2-105, life is about the basics. There isn't any polished marketing or a big team of people. It’s just a home and a livelihood. The Thanda is a small community, so when you wake up, you’re already seeing your neighbors and starting the day’s chores. Kanmanur is a quiet village, and most people here are busy with their own work, whether it’s in the fields or looking after animals. Being in Narva Mandal means being a bit of a distance from the bigger markets, so you have to be resourceful with what you have. We don’t spend much time worrying about how things look to outsiders; we just focus on the tasks at hand. Whether it’s gathering supplies or helping out a neighbor, the work at H. No. 2-105 is constant but never too rushed. The sun can be quite strong during the middle of the day, so that’s when things slow down a bit before picking up again in the late afternoon.
