Kashamma Sola

I’ve been staying here in Mominapur for a long time now. My name is Kashamma Sola. People in the village know where to find me, usually at house 1-13. It’s a quiet place here in Maddur Mandal. I started doing this work because there wasn't much else around and I needed to keep busy. Most days involve just handling what comes through the door. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a room where I get things done. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get around the district, but we manage. I don’t have a big team or a website with lots of photos. It’s just me and the occasional help from family when things get a bit busy. If you are walking through the village, you’ll probably see the house. I like living here because everyone knows each other. You don't have to explain much to the neighbors. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the mandal over the years. Some good, some okay. I try to keep things simple and honest. No point in making life more complicated than it already is. If someone needs something, they just stop by and ask. That’s how we do things in this part of the world. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, but it’s home. I don't plan on moving anywhere else. Being at 1-13 is enough for me. We just take it day by day and hope things go alright.
