Kadthala Devamma

My name is Kadthala Devamma and I operate out of H. No. 5-21 in Kondraopally village. It's a small place in the Kodair Mandal. I’ve been living and working in this district for years. Things here are simple. My house is where everything happens. You might have seen the gate if you’ve walked through the village recently. I don’t have a big staff helping me out. It’s just me taking care of the daily chores and whatever business needs doing. The village is quiet most of the time, which I like. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit tough, but we manage. People stop by when they need something and I do what I can. It isn't a professional office with desks and computers everywhere. It’s just a home that doubles as a workspace. Kodair Mandal is where my roots are. I know the people here and they know me. House number 5-21 has been in the family for a while. We don't really do much marketing or anything like that. Word of mouth is how people hear about me. It’s a very local way of doing things. I keep my books in a ledger and try to stay on top of the paperwork when I have a spare moment. It’s not a fast-paced life but it is consistent. My neighbors often stop for tea and we talk about the news.
