V Kast Concrete Products

Our small production unit is located at number 5/69 on Guruvikaran Salai. We have been operating out of the Sathamangalam Post area for quite a while now. Most of what we do involves making concrete products that people need for their gardens or for small building projects around their homes. The workspace is a bit tight, especially when we have a large batch of finished goods waiting to be picked up by the customers. We don't have any kind of corporate management team, just a few of us who have learned how to handle the heavy molds over the years. Every work day starts very early, usually before the sun gets too high and makes the yard too hot to work in. We mix the raw materials and get them poured into the different forms. After that, it is just a lot of waiting for everything to set and dry properly. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out right, so we just have to break it down and start over again. We aren't trying to be the largest supplier in the region. We just want to make sure the items we produce are solid and do the job they are supposed to do. People often stop by when they are driving through the area. We usually keep some of the finished pieces near the road so folks can see the quality. It keeps us pretty busy most of the time.
