Saraswathi Trading Company

You can find our place at 34 Palam Station Road, right in the middle of Maruthu Pandiar Nagar. We go by the name Saraswathi Trading Company. Being located right on the station road means there is always a lot of people, cows, and vehicles moving around just outside our front door. We trade in a wide variety of different goods, mostly the kinds of things that local businesses and regular folks around here need for their daily work. Our shop is a bit cramped and crowded because we always try to keep as much stock on hand as possible. It is definitely not the most organized place in the world, but we generally know where everything is kept when someone asks for it. We have been a part of this specific neighborhood for a long time now. Customers usually just drop in to see what we have in stock or to pick up an order they placed earlier. We don't do much in terms of advertising or putting up big flashy displays. We just open the heavy shutters in the morning and get straight to work. It involves a lot of lifting heavy boxes and double-checking invoices. Some days are quite slow, and we just sit around and talk with the regulars who stop by for a chat. Other days, it is a total rush with people everywhere. We just take it all as it comes. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. We aren't some big corporate chain, just a local trading spot trying to keep things moving.
