The Focus Sign

Our shop is at 14 Kalpalam Road in Goripalayam. It’s been here for quite some time now. If you know the area, you know it stays pretty busy with traffic and people walking by all day. We mostly make signs for other local businesses and shops around here. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or a big lobby. We just have our tools and a lot of materials stacked up in the corners. Sometimes the floor is covered in scraps of vinyl or metal bits, but that's just how a workshop looks. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. The noise from the road can be a bit much sometimes, but we’re used to it after all these years. People come in with an idea or a rough sketch on a piece of paper. We talk about it and then get to work. We don't use any high-tech systems for sales, just a ledger and some honest talk. It's a small crew of us here. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the sign looks decent and stays up for a long time. It’s practical work. If you’re walking down Kalpalam Road, you can’t really miss us. We keep the doors open most of the time to let the air in. It’s just a normal day-to-day business in Goripalayam.
