J. K. Advertisers

I’m sitting here at J. K. Advertisers, looking out at North Masi Street. It gets pretty loud out there, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We have been at No. 344 for quite some time now. Most people around here know us because we’ve been part of the landscape for years. If you walk down the street, you’ll see our door. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. We have some old desks and plenty of paper lying around. Honestly, sometimes the place is a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. People come in asking about signs or getting their names on things. We mostly just listen and see what we can do. It’s not like we have some big corporate strategy. We just show up in the morning, drink some tea, and start working on whatever is on the desk. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because the machines act up or the power goes out for a bit. That’s just life here. We don't really do big speeches about our work. If you need something, you just come by North Masi Street and talk to us. We’re usually here until late evening. It’s a small operation, just a few of us trying to make a living and helping out the neighbors when they need something printed or put up. That’s pretty much the whole story of J. K. Advertisers. It has been our life for a long time and we like it here.
