Sri Lakshmi Tours & Travels is based at Lakshmi Tower on South Mada Street. We are very close to the Koodal Alagar Perumal Koil, which is one of the famous old temples in Madurai. The atmosphere around here is quite special because of the temple, with flowers being sold on the street and pilgrims walking around. Our office at number 54/36 is a simple place where we manage our daily trips. Being near the temple means we get a lot of people wanting to go on religious tours or just needing a car for family events. It’s not a big corporate setup with a lot of staff. It’s just a few of us making sure the cars are clean and the drivers are ready to go. The streets around here are narrow and can get very crowded during festival times, so we have to be smart about how we park and pick up passengers. We have been doing this for a while and we know the local routes like the back of our hand. We don't use any slick marketing language. We just tell people which cars we have available and what the cost will be. It’s a local business run by local people who understand the rhythm of this part of Madurai. We just try to do an honest day's work and help people get where they are going.
