Portmate Tours

Portmate Tours is located over on 43 Kakkan Street, which is where we spend most of our time figuring out travel plans for people. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us sitting at desks trying to make sure all the details for trips and tours are sorted out. We handle a lot of phone calls and emails from folks who want to go on a holiday but don't want to deal with the stress of booking everything themselves. Sometimes things go smoothly and other times there are delays with flights or hotels that we have to sort out quickly. It can be a bit stressful when a customer is waiting, but we just do what we can. The office is pretty plain, nothing fancy to look at, just a place where we get the work done. We’ve been at this for a while, so we’ve learned a thing or two about which routes work best. We don't make big promises, we just try to be honest about what’s available and what fits the budget. Sometimes people come in with very specific ideas and we have to see if we can actually make it happen with the current prices. It’s mostly about being organized and keeping track of all the different bookings so nobody ends up without a room or a ride. We like the street we're on, it's got a good feel to it and it's easy for people to drop by.
