Sri Gayathri Enterprises

Sri Gayathri Enterprises is located at number 61 on Naicker New Street. It’s a narrow street, so things can get a bit crowded when we're unloading supplies. We’ve been operating from this same building for quite some time. It’s a no-frills kind of place where we focus on getting the work done. We handle a lot of different supplies that local businesses and homes need. The front door sticks a little in the humid weather, so you have to give it a good push. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of stock and a small desk where we do the paperwork. We don't have any flashy displays or neon signs. Most of our regulars know us by name and just walk right in. It’s a neighborhood business through and through. We spend our days answering the phone and making sure orders get sent out to the right places. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things in the hallway, but we manage. Naicker New Street has changed over the years, but we’re still here doing what we’ve always done. It’s a lot of work, but it keeps us busy and connected to the people around us. If you’re looking for a fancy shopping experience, this isn't it, but if you need your supplies and want to talk to someone who knows the trade, we're here. We just take each day as it comes.
