Sri Balaji Coffee Traders

Sri Balaji Coffee Traders is located right near the bus stop in Kottarakara, which is a busy part of Theni. Being so close to the bus stop means there is always a lot of movement around us. People are coming and going, catching their rides, or just passing through. We deal mostly in coffee, the raw stuff and the ground versions too. It’s a trade business, so there are bags piled up and the air always smells like unroasted beans. It can get a bit cramped in here when a new shipment arrives. We've been in this spot for quite some time now. Locals know us for the smell alone. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s more of a practical space where we weigh things out and package them for customers. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with stray beans, but that's just part of the day. People from all over the area stop by because they know where we are. It’s easy to find us if you just head toward the bus station. We aren't really a sit-down cafe, more of a place where you get what you need and move on. The pace is quick because the bus schedules don't wait for anyone. We try to keep up with the demand. It’s hard work, lifting the heavy sacks and keeping everything sorted, but it’s what we do here in Theni every single day.
