Janatha Syrup & Company

Janatha Syrup & Company is located at 39, Athimoolam Pillai Agraharam in the Simmakal area. This is an older part of the city and we have been working out of this spot for quite a long time. We mostly make various kinds of syrups here. The smell of sugar and different fruit flavors is usually hanging in the air around our entrance. It is a local business through and through. The street we are on, Athimoolam Pillai Agraharam, can be quite narrow and it often gets very crowded with people and handcarts. We don’t have a massive modern factory; it is much more of a traditional way of doing things. Simmakal is a very lively and noisy neighborhood, so there is never really a dull moment during the workday. We just focus on our own tasks, like bottling the syrups and getting them ready to be sent out to the local shops. We don’t spend any money on big advertisements or anything like that. Most people in this part of town already know exactly where we are. It can be a little bit of a maze trying to find us if you don’t know the area well. The building itself is old but it works just fine for what we need. We have our regular customers who have been coming to us for many years. It is just a simple company run by people who know their business inside and out.
