We are up on the fourth floor of building number 54 on West Perumal Masitry Street. It’s tucked away behind the College House, so you have to look for the sign to find the entrance. Being on the fourth floor means it’s a bit quieter than the street level, which is good when we are trying to get the paperwork done. We handle all sorts of travel arrangements, from local car rentals to booking tickets for longer trips. It’s just a normal office space with some desks and a couple of old fans. Most of our customers are people who have heard about us from their friends or family. We don’t spend much on fancy decorations; we just keep the files organized and the phone lines open. The view from the window is just the tops of other buildings in Madurai. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. The area around West Perumal Masitry Street is always crowded, so once you get up to our office, it feels a lot more relaxed. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and checking on route timings. It’s a basic operation. We show up, answer the calls, and try to get people where they want to go. There isn't much more to it than that. We just keep things moving along every day and try to stay organized.
