Shanlax International Journals

We are set up on the 1st Floor of the VP Complex, which is at 61 TPK Main Road in Vasantha Nagar. Shanlax International Journals has been operating out of this space for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, but we like being in this part of town. It’s a lot of paperwork and digital files most days. We spend our time looking at articles and sorting out journals. It’s quiet work for the most part, though TPK Main Road can get pretty loud with all the buses and bikes going past. We are not some giant publishing house with a hundred floors. It’s just our team in the VP Complex making sure the journals get put together right. We have a lot of stuff stacked up, mostly drafts and finished copies. Vasantha Nagar is a good spot for us because it’s easy for people to reach. Sometimes people come in looking for specific volumes and we have to dig through the back to find them. It isn’t always perfectly organized, but the work gets done. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the publishing side of things and try to keep up with the schedule. If you find yourself in Vasantha Nagar, we are just right there in the complex above the street noise. It is just a few of us here making sure the academic work gets out there.
