Afsa Electronics

Afsa Electronics is tucked away in Anna Nagar. It’s a busy part of the city, and we’ve been operating from here for a good amount of time. The shop is filled with all kinds of components, from tiny resistors to larger circuit boards that we keep in old plastic bins. When you walk in, you’ll probably see a couple of us hunched over a workbench with a soldering iron. There’s always that faint smell of burnt solder in the air, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy out front. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them we could fix their old television or radio. The shelves are a bit disorganized, but we usually know exactly where every wire and connector is hidden. Sometimes it takes a while to find a specific part for an older model, but we usually manage. The street outside is always loud with traffic and people shouting, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a simple life, really. We open up early, drink some tea while looking at the day's repairs, and stay until the work is done. It gets crowded when the weather is bad and everyone crowds into the doorway to stay dry. We just keep tinkering away regardless of what’s happening on the street. It is a small place but it works for us.
