Rani Soda Factory

Our place is called Rani Soda Factory and you can find us at No: 2/71, Vinayagar Kovil Street. We are tucked away in Jemini Balamangalam, which is under the Pottal Patti Post. It’s a quiet area for the most part, except for when the machines are running. We’ve been making soda here for a long time. The street is named after the temple nearby, so it’s easy to give directions to people who aren't from around here. It is just a regular building, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it's a bit cramped with all the bottles and the gas tanks we use for the carbonation. We don't have a big office or a reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just talk to us at the main door while we work. The work is repetitive, washing bottles and filling them up, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy, which is a bit of a pain for the deliveries. We aren't trying to become some huge company. We just want to keep the local shops supplied with what they need. Most of the people in Pottal Patti know us by now. We’ve had the same neighbors for years and everyone looks out for each other. It’s a simple life running a soda factory on Vinayagar Kovil Street. We just do our work and go home.
