Rajam Traders

Running Rajam Traders out here at 72, Madurai Main Road in Thirumangalam keeps us pretty busy through the week. This road is actually one of the loudest parts of the area because there's always a constant stream of big trucks and cars passing by outside our front door. Sometimes the dust from all that traffic gets inside, so we have to spend quite a bit of time dusting off the counters and checking the stock. We have been in this specific location for a long time now, and the building has definitely seen its share of seasons. It’s a simple setup where we focus on our daily trades and keeping track of the inventory that comes in and goes out. Most of the folks who stop by are locals from around Thirumangalam or drivers who are just passing through on their way to Madurai. The space isn't very large, but it fits everything we need to run things properly. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how the shop works and where everything is stored. Usually, the afternoons are the quietest part of the day when the sun is really hot, so we use that time to catch up on chores or organize the back room. Then things always pick up again in the evening when it’s cooler. It’s just honest work, and we try to stay on top of it as best as we can. Being on the main road makes us very easy to find.
