Nisha Events

Nisha Events is located up on the first floor at No-41A on Town Hall Road. If you know this part of Madurai, you know it stays pretty busy most of the day. We are right across the street from Krishna Sweets. Sometimes the smell of the fried snacks and milk sweets drifts right into our office windows when the wind is blowing the right way. The office isn't anything fancy or big. It is just a regular room where we keep our files and a few desks for when we need to sit down and figure out the schedules for the week. The stairs coming up here are a little narrow so people have to be careful when they walk up. Most of our days are spent on the phone or writing things down in our notebooks. We deal with a lot of local vendors and people from the neighborhood who just drop in to ask about dates. It gets quite loud outside with all the buses and the horns honking on Town Hall Road. We usually keep the fans running all day because it gets quite hot in this part of town. There is always a lot of paperwork to deal with and we try to keep it organized in the metal cabinets against the wall. It is just a small group of us here doing the daily work. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure things are ready for whatever is coming up next on the calendar.
