Market Chase Outdoor Advertising

Our place is at No 7-B in the Theja Lakshman Building. We are on 2nd Street, Pannai Road, right off Sivagangai Road in Arignar Anna Nagar. Most people know the area near Bharathi Nagar. We work in outdoor advertising, which means we spend a lot of time outside in the Madurai sun. It’s hot and dusty work, but someone has to do it. We handle the big boards and posters you see around the city. Our office in the building is where we store the vinyls and the tools. It’s not a very fancy office because we are rarely there for long. Usually, we are out on the road, checking on sites or putting up new displays. We have a couple of ladders and a lot of ropes. It’s a physical job and it requires some muscle. We don’t really have a big marketing pitch. We just find good spots for ads and make sure they are tied down tight so the wind doesn't take them. Madurai is a big city and we know its corners pretty well by now. We’ve been doing this for a while and we’ve seen the city change quite a bit from our vantage points up on the hoardings. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, we do the climbing, we get the ad up, and then we move to the next one. It's a living and it keeps us moving every single day through the streets of Madurai.
