Our place is on Kamban Street in Paravai, which is part of Madurai North. The address is 4-1-39. It is a typical Madurai neighborhood, plenty of energy and people moving about. We are realtors, so we spend a lot of time thinking about houses and plots. Our office isn’t anything special to look at, just a room with some desks and a couple of computers. We usually have the door open to catch a breeze, though it’s mostly just warm air in this part of Tamil Nadu. We get people dropping by to ask about prices or just to say hello. We keep a ledger of everything. It’s a lot of manual work sometimes. We aren’t a huge company with fancy slogans. We just know the local streets and who owns what. Being on Kamban Street means we are close to the local shops, so we usually grab lunch nearby. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it’s not a priority right now. We are more concerned with making sure the property deeds are correct. It’s a busy life being a realtor here. We just try to be honest about what we see. There’s no need for big words. We just work the hours and help out where we can. It’s a decent living and we like the people around here. Most days are long but we get things done.
