You can find us right inside the Pandiyan Hotel on Race Course Road in Madurai. It’s a nice spot on New Natham Road, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Our shop isn't huge, but it stays busy because of the hotel guests and people living around the Race Course area. Every morning, the fresh stock arrives, and the whole place smells like jasmine and roses. We spend a lot of our time trimming stems, cleaning up leaves, and putting together simple arrangements or traditional garlands. It’s a quiet kind of job, mostly sitting and working with our hands while the city hums along outside. We don't have a big website or anything fancy; we just rely on people walking by and seeing the flowers. The hotel atmosphere is generally calm, which makes it a pleasant place to work compared to the more crowded markets downtown. We see travelers coming in for a day and locals who stop by every week to get something for their homes. It’s not complicated work, but it takes a bit of patience to get the garlands just right. We keep the shop open pretty much all day, and there’s usually one of us there surrounded by buckets of water and piles of petals. It’s just a small, local flower business doing its thing in a corner of the hotel. We like the rhythm of it.
