Dalmia Cement

Our place is located right on the 2-31, Kodimunai Vaniyakudi Road in Kurumpanai. It is a familiar stretch of road for most people living around here. We deal with Dalmia Cement, so there is always a lot of heavy lifting involved. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we keep the inventory dry and ready. Being on this road means we see a lot of people passing by on their way to work or the coast. The salt air can be a bit of a challenge for some things, but the cement stays fine inside the stacks. We usually start quite early before the sun gets too high and makes the work too sweaty. It is just a few of us here making sure the orders are filled correctly. We don't have a big corporate team or fancy receptionists. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. Most of our days are spent checking the stock levels and talking to the local builders who come by with their small trucks. The road outside can get a bit narrow when two big vehicles try to pass, but everyone is used to it by now. It is a quiet enough life, just keeping the business moving and making sure the neighbors get what they need for their construction projects. We just keep the gate open and work through the list.
