Ajantha Cooldrinks

Ajantha Cooldrinks is located at 46, Thiagarajar Colony Road. We are in the Pasumalai area, which most locals know pretty well. It’s a good spot for a business like ours because there is always someone passing by who is thirsty. We keep the drinks as cold as the equipment allows. The shop itself is nothing special to look at, just a practical space with a lot of glass bottles and plastic crates. We’ve been at this Pasumalai location for a long time, so the neighbors all know us by name. The road out front, Thiagarajar Colony Road, gets a bit dusty when it hasn't rained in a while. We spend a good portion of our morning just dusting off the counters and the bottle tops. It’s just how it is. We don't have a big corporate office or anyone in suits. It’s just us in our regular clothes doing the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble to keep everything chilled, but that is part of the job. People come to Ajantha Cooldrinks because they know we are here every day. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just provide drinks from our small corner at number 46. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and that suits us just fine. We just wait for the evening rush and then head home to rest.
