Aboorva Cabs

We have been running Aboorva Cabs for a good amount of time now. Our office is right here in the UC HSS Complex on West Veli Street. It is very close to the Periyar Bus Stand, which stays busy all day and night. Most people just walk over from the bus stand when they need a car. We have a few drivers who know these Madurai roads inside out. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually sit inside the office and wait for the phone to ring. We started this because we knew the area well and had a couple of cars to spare. It is not a big corporate setup or anything like that. Just a local business where we try to keep things moving. Sometimes the traffic on West Veli Street is a bit much, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We keep our cars parked nearby so we can get going quickly. There are a lot of regulars who call us because they know where we are. We do not do much fancy advertising. Most of our work comes from people just seeing the sign or knowing us from the neighborhood. It keeps us busy enough. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure the cars are running okay. It is a simple life here near the bus stand and we like it that way.
