We are based at 676/A in Prem Nagar, which is a busy part of the Civil Lines area in Ludhiana. If you happen to be walking near Upkar Nagar, you’ve probably seen our sign once or twice. It’s just a normal building where we spend most of our daylight hours. The street outside is usually full of noise, especially in the afternoon when people are out doing their errands. We chose this spot a while back because it’s easy to get to for people living around here. Inside, there isn't much to see besides some basic desks and chairs and boards on the walls. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We keep the windows open when it's not too dusty outside, though the road can be a bit much sometimes. Most people who stop by are from the surrounding blocks, so we’ve gotten to know the neighbors over the years. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit there and wait for it to come back on, just like everyone else on the street. It’s just a plain workplace for us. We get in early before the heat starts and we usually leave once the evening lights come on in Prem Nagar. It feels like we’ve been part of the furniture here for a long time now. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a local spot that’s been here through all sorts of weather.
