If you head over to Sant Nagar, you’ll find Education Park at I-96. It’s not some big university campus with a lot of grass or anything like that. It’s just our little place where we help local people learn. We’ve got some rooms set up with basic desks and chairs. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how learning goes, I guess. We started this because there weren't many places nearby for students to go after their regular school classes were over. I-96 is a decent enough spot, easy enough for people in the neighborhood to reach on foot. We spend a lot of our time looking at books and grading papers. We aren't big on flashy equipment or high-tech gadgets here. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint one of these days, but the chairs are comfortable enough for a few hours of study. We see students coming in at all hours, some look really tired from their day and others are ready to go. We just try to provide a quiet space where they can actually focus on their work. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized. My sister helps with the scheduling while I look after the building and the lights. We’ve had some good days and some really long ones where the power goes out. We just light some candles and keep the lessons moving.
