De Samar Academy

We are located at No. 117-A in Shastri Nagar. If you know the area, we are quite close to the B.C.M. School and situated right behind the Guru Teg place. It is a busy little corner of Shastri Nagar because of the students and parents always moving around the school gates nearby. Our building is simple and we use the rooms for teaching and helping students with their lessons throughout the week. There is usually a bit of noise from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We have chairs and whiteboards set up in the rooms, nothing very elaborate or high-tech. It feels like a local home that was turned into a place for learning. We spend our afternoons and evenings here when the kids finish their regular school day and come over for extra help. The entrance is tucked away a bit, so you have to look for the number 117-A on the gate. It isn't a modern glass building; it is a solid brick and mortar place that has been part of the neighborhood for a while now. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows to keep the air moving while we work with the students. We don't have a big administrative staff or any receptionists. It’s just us here, making sure the students have a quiet place to sit and study their books. The walk from the main road is short, but it can get crowded when the school lets out.
