Vrindawan Marbles

Vrindawan Marbles is located on Pakhowal Road in the Ram Vihar Colony area. We are right near the Bhai Wala Gurudwara, so we are pretty easy to find if you are in that part of town. Our yard is filled with big slabs of marble and granite. It is a very heavy and dusty business. We spend most of the day outside, even when it gets really hot, because that is where all the stone is kept. We don't have a polished showroom with air conditioning. There is just a small office where we handle the bills and talk to customers. When the big trucks come in with new stock, it takes a lot of work to get everything unloaded without breaking anything. We are just a local family running this place and we’ve been here for a long time. People come in with their measurements for floors or counter tops and we show them what we have in the stacks. The sound of the stone being moved and cut is something you just get used to. We don't do any big advertising or fancy brochures. People just see the stone from the road and pull in. We try to keep a good variety of patterns in stock. It is hard physical work, but we like being part of the community here near the Gurudwara.
