Taran Collection

Being at 307 Chaura Bazar means you’re right in the middle of everything. We spend a lot of time just shifting piles of clothes from one side of the counter to the other. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes, especially when a new delivery arrives and there’s nowhere to put the bags. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to actually move everything out of the way to do it. Customers come in and start looking through the stacks, and usually, things get a bit messy, but that’s just part of the job. We keep a couple of fans running all day because it gets stuffy with so many fabrics around. My cousin helps out when it gets really busy, though mostly it’s just me sitting near the entrance. You get to know the other shopkeepers nearby quite well. We talk about the weather or how slow the morning is going. Taran Collection isn't some high-end showroom; it's just a place where we keep our stuff and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked by a stray cow or a big delivery truck, and we just stand at the door and watch the chaos for a bit. It’s a long day from start to finish, and my feet usually ache by the time I'm locking the door at night.
