The Gres Decoration

It’s been quite a few years since we started The Gres Decoration here on Siddaiah road. If you know the area, you probably know Shop No.3 near Shri Durga Mata Mandir in Gurdev Nagar. It’s a busy spot, always something happening outside. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready for whatever event is coming up next. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the stuff piled up, but that’s just how the decorating business goes. We don’t have a fancy office or anything, just the shop where we keep all our supplies. Most people around here just drop in when they need something done for a small gathering or a party. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with the traffic on this road can be a headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home, but we’re used to it by now. The shop is small but it fits everything we need. We handle all sorts of little jobs. Some days are slow and we just sit outside and talk to the neighbors. Other days, we’re running around until late at night. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve known the people around Gurdev Nagar for a long time, so it feels like home. If you’re ever walking past the temple, you’ll see us there, probably moving some frames or checking on the fabric stocks we have stored in the back.
