Our place is at House No 140 on Street No 1, right off Rahon Road in Basti Jodhewal. It’s not a huge setup or anything fancy, just a regular building in Naginder Nagar where we help kids with their schoolwork. We’ve been here in Ludhiana for a bit now. Most people around here know the street because it’s easy to find once you get off the main road. The rooms have some benches and whiteboards, and we keep things pretty basic so the focus stays on the books. It gets quite noisy outside during the afternoons when the traffic on Rahon Road picks up, but inside we just try to get through the lessons. Students come from the nearby houses, usually walking or on bicycles. We don’t have a big reception area or staff in suits. It’s mostly just us and the students sitting down to figure out math problems or science chapters. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows to let the breeze in while we wait for the generator. It is a very local thing we have going on here. We started doing this because we saw a lot of kids in Basti Jodhewal struggling to keep up with their classes. It isn't a corporate office, just a house where learning happens every day. We usually wrap things up by late evening when the street lights come on.
