Standard Machinery Bearing Trader

Standard Machinery Bearing Trader is located right opposite the Jagraon Bridge on G T Road. It is a very busy spot because of all the traffic coming off the bridge and moving along the main road. You can hear the horns and engines all day long from inside the shop. We’ve been here at this G T Road address for quite a few years. The shop itself is a bit narrow but it goes back a long way. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, mostly filled with boxes of different sizes. There is usually a bit of dust on the top shelves because it’s hard to reach them every day. We have a small counter at the front where we handle all the business. It’s a bit cluttered with pens, ledgers, and old catalogs, but we like it that way. When the weather is nice, we keep the front door wide open. We know many of the drivers and mechanics who pass by this way regularly. It’s not a polished showroom with glass displays. It’s a working trader's shop where we spend our time checking stock and talking to people who stop in. We don’t do much in the way of marketing or big sales pitches. People just know we are here by the bridge and they drop in when they need something. It’s a simple way of doing business and it suits us just fine. We just keep going.
