Pabla Bearing Ltd

Our place is at 81 B Dugri, not far from the Surat Railway Station. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains rumbling past all day long. It's a sound we have grown used to, just like the clinking of metal bearings in the boxes. The warehouse is filled with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, packed with every size of bearing you could think of. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and packing orders for people who need them. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s hot outside, which is nice. We have a small counter where people come to pick up their items. Usually, there is a lot of grease involved, so our clothes never stay clean for very long. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure the right parts get to the right people. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing when we have a big shipment coming in, but we sort it out eventually. We drink a lot of chai during the day to keep our energy up. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so there are always other workers moving about and trucks blocking the narrow streets. It’s a simple operation, focused on the hardware and the daily grind. We just keep the shelves stocked and the orders moving.
