Speedking Inverter & Battery

Down on Dhandra Road, specifically in Dugri Roop Nagar at St.No.-10, you’ll find our little shop. Speedking Inverter & Battery is where we handle a lot of heavy lead and acid. It’s not the easiest work because batteries are incredibly heavy and you have to be careful with the fluids. We spend a lot of time charging units and checking voltages. When the power goes out in the neighborhood, that’s usually when our phone starts ringing off the hook. We try to keep a good stock of different sizes so people don't have to sit in the dark for too long. The shop itself is pretty simple. We have shelves lined with black and white casings and a lot of thick copper wires lying around. Sometimes we’re out on the road delivering a battery to someone’s house, which is a real workout for the back. Dugri is a busy area, and being in Street Number 10 means we get a lot of locals walking in. We don't have a polished sales pitch. We just tell people how long a battery might last or why their inverter is making that clicking sound. It’s a practical business for a practical problem. We’ve been here for a while now, just keeping the lights on for the folks around Dhandra Road. It’s a living, and it keeps us on our toes every single day.
