Ujala Battery

Our shop is located at 122 Transport Nagar. Being in this specific area means we deal with a whole lot of trucks and heavy vehicles every single day. Batteries are very heavy things to move around, so we are always lifting and hauling them from one spot to another. We handle everything from small car batteries to the really big ones used in commercial trucks and buses. Some days are spent just testing old batteries to see if they can still hold a charge for a bit longer. Other days we are selling new ones to drivers who are just passing through the city. It is a very practical and straightforward business. There is really no room for any fluff or fancy stuff here. The floor is made of concrete and often has dark marks from where the batteries have been sitting for a while. We also do some battery charging on-site for people who don't want to buy a brand new one just yet. Transport Nagar is a rough and ready kind of place to work. There are always engines revving and loud horns honking just outside our door. We have been here at this spot for a good while now, and the local truck drivers know exactly where to find us. It’s a bit of a messy job sometimes with the battery acid and the dirt from the vehicles, but it is what we do. We don't have a big office or a showroom. It is just a shop with rows of batteries and some testing equipment.
