Sohal Engg. Works

We are set up over at D-40-41 in Focal Point. If you know the area, you know it’s all about manufacturing and heavy work around here. The shop for Sohal Engg. Works isn't anything special to look at, just a solid building with enough room for the machines. We spend most of our time dealing with iron, steel, and whatever else customers bring in. Sometimes the floor gets a bit cluttered when we have big projects going on, but we find what we need. It’s a lot of manual work, getting your hands dirty and making sure the measurements are right. We don't spend much time sitting around in an office. Most of the guys here have been doing this for a long time, so they know the sounds the machines make when something isn't right. We have a couple of big bays where we keep the materials stacked up. It gets loud when everything is running at once, which is most of the day. Coffee breaks are usually quick because there is always something that needs finishing. We just try to do honest work and keep the machines maintained so they don’t break down on us. It’s a tough business sometimes, but it’s what we know how to do. Focal Point is a good place for a shop like ours because everything we need is nearby. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks without making too much of a fuss.
