Shipley Collection

Shipley Collection is located right at 1 Lamington Road, over in the Sunder Nagar area. Being at number one on the road makes it pretty easy to find if you are looking for us. We have a modest setup here where we keep all the different items we’ve collected and put together over time. Lamington Road is usually quite a lively place with a lot of movement, but Sunder Nagar has its own feel to it. Our shop isn't very big, so we have to be smart about how we stack things on the shelves. There are days when it feels like we have too much stuff and not enough room, but we always manage to find what we need. We don't really go in for fancy displays or bright lights. Most of the time, we are just busy checking the inventory or talking to people who drop by to see what is new. It is a regular local business, run by people who have lived and worked in this area for a long time. We try to keep things honest and simple. There is always a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning the glass cases. It is just the way it is when you are in a central location. We stay open late most days because there is always something left to do.
