Our place is at 706 Sharma Apartment in the Sarabha Nagar area. Sarabha Nagar is one of the nicer spots in Ludhiana, and being tucked away in an apartment building means it’s a bit more peaceful than being right on the main street. We are up on one of the higher floors, so there’s a bit of a walk or a wait for the lift, but you get a decent view of the rooftops around here. The apartment isn't massive, but we have laid it out so there is enough room for everyone to sit down and get to work. It feels much more like a home than a formal office or a school. We have some whiteboards on the walls and old wooden chairs that have definitely seen better days, but they do the job. The afternoon sun comes in really bright through the windows, which is nice until it gets too hot. We usually have the ceiling fans going at full speed during the summer months. Sometimes the people living in the other apartments will say hello in the hallway or when we are checking the mail. It’s a very friendly building to be in. We don't have any big flashy signs outside, just the name and the address on the door. Most people find their way to us because someone they know told them where we were. It’s a simple, quiet way to spend the day in Ludhiana.
